I started The Stormlight Archive.

It was August 7th when I finally started reading Brandon Sanderson's books. For the past... maybe three years I was constantly hearing and reading good stuff about this author, especially about his biggest and greatest work: The Stormlight Archive, but at the time I thought I didn't like reading or that it wasn't my thing, I found more entertaining playing videogames or watching a movie/tv show rather than reading a book, so I convinced myself that I didn't have the time for that.It wasn't until many coincidences in my life that I decided to at least try, and start reading Brandon Sanderson's Mistborn series. Even tho my main goal was reading The Stormlight Archive, I obviously couldn't start from there, since it was going to be my first time committing to reading something serious, and each Stormlight Archive book has at least 1000 pages, with lots and lots of characters and complex plots, so I thought about it and decided to start from Mistborn. After some time reading it (which I ended up loving, especially Mistborn Era 2), I was more and more committed to that world and those stories. I can become obsessed with something I like, and coming from watching and reading One Piece (+1000 chapters), which has some of the greatest world-building I've ever seen, it was inevitable that I wanted to know everything about the cosmere and Sanderson's works.I established a reading order to enjoy all the books with enough information to understand at least the majority of the references to other books, which looks like this:Mistborn era 1 with Eleventh Metal.Alloy of law > Allomancer Jak and the pits of Eltania.Shadows of self and The Bands of Mourning.Arcanum unbounded: Mistborn Secret History.Elantris > The Hope of Elantris > Emperor's Soul.Mistborn The Lost Metal.Shadows for Silence in the Forests of Hell.Sixth of the Dusk.Warbreaker.The Way of Kings.Words of Radiance.Edgedancer.Oathbringer.Dawnshard.Rhythm of War.It was going to take a long time to start The Stormlight Archive, and I was afraid that I wasn't going to connect with the other books just because I was kinda rushing to reach my final goal, but I was wrong.I fell in love with all the books and their characters and stories. I was always wanting to know more about all the major and significant events in the cosmere, I would (and I still) feel excited every time some important character provided me with more information. I would be doing something in my house while thinking "what is going to do X character now, how this story will continue...", and feel bored or sad every time I stopped reading because I get so immersed in the story that the real world doesn't exist to me, and I feel like I'm inside those fantastic worlds.I ended up learning and feeling something very important even before reading The Stormlight Archive: journey before destination. And I'm finally here. I finished Warbreaker, already bought the first three books of Stormlight Archive, and I'm ready to immerse myself in something that I'm sure is one of the greatest stories ever written.
